Why Norman prices are so low

The four kinds of deals you will see

Price drops on specific products. The most common kind: a brand or product discounted for a week or a month, usually because the store bought deep or the producer is pushing a new line. These are worth planning a trip around, because the product is the same and only the price changed.

Category specials. Twenty percent off edibles, a concentrate weekend, and so on. Useful if you were already buying that category; not a reason to switch to a format you do not enjoy.

Bulk pricing. Ounces and half-ounces priced below the per-gram rate of an eighth. Real savings on flower you already know you like; a bad idea for flower you have never tried. Buy the eighth first.

How to tell a good deal from a cheap one

A discount only saves money if the product was worth buying at full price. Three quick checks:

3. Compare price per milligram on edibles. Two 100 mg packages at different prices are the same dose. Divide price by milligrams and the better value is obvious.

The best value is not always the lowest price

Established Oklahoma brands cost a little more than the cheapest jar on the shelf, and they earn it with consistency — the product you bought last month is the product you get this month.
